From their application notes, you can take any type of material such a piece of PVC? pipe to make it into a sensor. I own one of their development boards, which I plan to use as a mechanical free float switch. It takes the piece of PVC? pipe. As the capacitance change from the lowering water, you can set a point to activate a pump for top off. You also set the high point to shut off the pump. http://www.qprox.com/ Would probably be a good sensor to look into for the level applications above to measure the sump depth. |
